In current-life there is is a general division in ninety-nine point nine percent of things. This necessary division is known by some but also not known by many as well. Knowing of this division helps one realize that there are things that can be contradicting but in a higher truth that one contradicting thing can become complementary. The division necessary for human life and experience also brings about an automatic opposite law in everything and everyone. When one concentrates their observance they will find that opposition and polarization is inevitable in the world. Higher, and lower. Benevolent and malevolent. These words I have just written is a very simple reason as to why people have a hard time understanding self in relation to other-self. These words I have written are the reason why most people do not know how to peacefully “Agree to disagree”. Many people rather resort to arguments and confrontations than to share their conflicting idea-forms peacefully. One can have the intellect of this inevitable division of the world but still be ignorance in their being due to their inauthenticity and/or impulsive nature. To sincerely exist and experience life embodying this temporary law of division is a powerful skill that leads to one having many harmonious first impressions. I believe that the simple first impressions and peaceful interactions that one experiences in life are what have a big effect unto the world. For there are many instances that one comes into their life where they get to choose to be consciously knowledgeable or impulsively-ignorant. These are small “battles”, and the more one is sincerely conscious and aware during these times brings a ten fold of positivity forces to the world. While yes, accomplishing big goals such as opening up hospitals or partaking in other major philanthropist efforts and giving can bring positive effects. One does not realize that the very same philanthropist can be unconscious and ignorant and step on many others back and exist with malevolent behavior. For the many small battles to one are not known and not sincerely and consciously approached. This earlier stated opposition and polarization is where the modern day human with their modern day sense-minds implement good and bad, right and wrong in everything and everyone. This is a doing of the human sense-mind, this is a being of the modern day divided unconscious ignorance in humans. As I said this division is necessary for life experience and life-play. This division is necessary for the lessons and time-space happenings occurring in this very present-moment. But in essence, duality is nowhere to be found and where it is to be found there is no right or wrong or good and bad. In the the current timeline of the Earth, falsehood and deception have caused man to create these lower-truth labels. While yes we do know the difference of what it feels like to exist in Bliss, but that is our natural inner-being momentarily in contact with the Truth. The confusion comes in to play when we notice the effects of lower emotion and mental forces. For the Higher-Truths of life lie in unity and indivisibility. The Higher-Truths of life are Delightful and whole, the world is a one-manifestation inevitably becoming to its Peaceful Absoluteness. Supreme-Integrity.
A commonality of the self experiencing life is that we are constantly being pulled outwardly to discover the self, other-selfs, and nature. While at the same time the very same consciousness is being pulled inward waiting for the veil to lift and for the door to be willingly discovered and walked through. Our sense-mind is real and also very useful here in a 21st century world where materiality is highly responsible for evolution and progressive idea-forms and scientific discoveries. Due to the basis of the reality of our senses we tend to look at our selfs as a civilization that is farther advanced and highly intellectual compared to any other civilization that has come before us. This is the effect of the half-truth education that is thought in all American schools. While the modern day education system in America is not completely useless, there are partial-truths mixed in with Truths. This ultimately confuses the self and draws ill idea-forms that are based on false preconceptions, superficial studies only, and separative cognitive conditioning. The sense-mind has to willingly unlearn or at least broaden their consciousness to other possible idea-forms in order for reality to be less confusing. Just as we willingly consumed and allowed the misinformation in we must use the same will-power to alter and adapt new idea-forms and truth that align more to the essence of self, other-selfs, and Nature Earth. The ego-self does not like the thoughts nor feelings that are experienced when one begins to allow their consciousness to broaden. For it challenges it and makes it feel uncomfortable due to the unknown steps it unconsciously foresees has to be taken. When one has spent their whole life creating this outer ego and superficial self it can be painful to discover higher truths that naturally shift the ego-self to a mode of transcendence and self-discovery. It is commonly misunderstood that everyone and everything is limited in expressions. We form half-truth rules, morals, and ethics that divide us from the unlimited and endless potentialities that exist in the deeper forms of everything and everyone. The normal modern day societal collective perception also often leaves the individual to feel and think with a conscious that labels the self, other-selfs, and Earth Nature. We say, “This is that” and “That is this.” While this may be true it is also true that “This and that” are not separate nor limited to being only “That and This”. The modern day collective cognition does not fully understand Trust due to half truths taught not only to society through childhood conditioning but also because of the constant consumption of everyday media. This is far from any ‘Conspiracy’ for one only uses this label when their beliefs and preconceptions are being challenged to realize higher truths. These people who throw around the conspiracist label are unconsciously lacking willed self-evolution. Their consciousness is very small and it is not worth the time or effort to try and alter their perspective for they have all the right to be limited and bias if that’s what they choose to do. This is their truth and if they do not want to progress and concentrate their consciousness to a more wholistic integral knowing than one must let them peacefully be. But problems start the be formed when the self interacts with other-selfs who possess a limited consciousness. Other-selfs who do not embrace a wider span of consciousness often argue with the self who knows that everything in life does not have to be learned through the senses and that learning of history and the people there of are necessary for societies advancement. While yes one can learn many things from studying past other-selfs and events, the modern day self often forgets to trust in their self and the constantly evolving mind they possess. The world is a becoming and when one is constantly studying the past happenings they are unknowingly disregarding the current existing consciousness. If one were to take a moment and trust in thyself and trust in the universe they would soon come to realize that in this present moment a large majority of answers lie within and just beneath our superficial self. But one who cares about what society thinks of them and unconsciously follows the rules and preconceived ideas that are accepted they do not allow their selfs to Trust these ever-present inner knowings.
Hello everyone. Today I want to write about morals, ethics, and rules. This is a touchy subject that I do not see many people write nor even speak about. Now depending on ones own idea-forms and bundle of old habits morals, ethics, and values are literally one of a kind. Its quite silly though because most of society, especially western society, expect people to have a ‘common sense’ intellect of what morals, ethics, and values are. Society makes these idea-forms out to be as simple as something like picking what shoes to wear today. If we examine the word common sense and one says, ‘oh don’t make it so difficult. Common sense is common sense and people should kNoW what to do and not to do.’ Usually people who think this way are not open minded and not understanding to others and their different perspectives. Their consciousness doesn’t comprehend the fact that common sense is not so common after all and most of us have been misled to believe it is. Society, our guardians, or even our peers depending how one was was raised tell us “do this.. it is right. Don’t do this.. it is wrong.” Or they may say things like.. “that is bad, DON’T do that” or “that is good, it’s okay to do that.” Most people are misinformed when it comes to how to set morals and ethics and how these idea-forms are subjective yet complementary objective in their essence as well. Mostly everyone assumes what is right and wrong and they walk around mingling in the world with other-selfs imposing and forcing these limited beliefs upon others unconsciously. Our morals and ethics are like the cells in our bodies, they are always changing and evolving every step of the way we take in this life, IF we allow them to. But most people do not understand this and are under the impression of old pseudo-science and believe that the gene is set and one is ‘determined’ by them. Many scientist, doctors, and psychologists consciousness are misinformed and do not understand nor even do they try to broaden their mind-horizon that our cells and genes are just as capable of change and evolving depending on the environment they are inhabited upon. Life is interdependent and it is known that nature repeats its self and if something like cells and genes are determined by their environment than this can be said about morals and ethics as well. It’s like the blind man who takes his hand and places it upon one part of the elephant and believes that this small fragmented part he perceives with his sense-mind is all there is. But in a higher truth he is only allowing and limiting himself to a fragmented portion of the whole. If we continue with this analogy one could say the blind man is not ‘wrong’, that his limited idea-form is in fact true because to him that is all he is allowing himself to be conscious of. This then becomes a partial-truth and one cannot say so otherwise. If they do say so otherwise they will try to prove their own perception and tell the blind man.. “you are wrong!” But then they are now forming an unnecessary problem out of such minute things and infringing upon the free-will all us humans have. Society takes their past happenings and ill-formed thought-forms and labels them and staples them to their superficial egoistic selfs. This is seen in many social interactions today, when people interact with other-selfs that they believe are separate and strangers to them they hold onto their morals and ethics ever so tightly and judge and compare others before they even get the chance to let that person express their selfs in that current present-moment. Life is not black and white and even though we are conditioned and products of a divided mindset, if we want to live life without self-forming unnecessary pain and suffering then going into social interactions and speaking to ‘strangers’ with an adaptive, open, and flexible mindset is highly important.
It is the little battles we face everyday that one must fight and be conscious of. How many people do you and I know that speak of themselves being ‘good’ or doing ‘righteous’ things without realizing how many people they had to step on and belittle in order to get to their current achievement? It is often so that the moral and ethical person is unconscious to their self-limiting idea-forms. For when one acts, speaks, and feels in life it is always changing, evolving, and adapting differently to what their past mind-memory has stored in their mind. But one must acknowledge and bring their concentration to this progressive essence of their being that is veiled oh so smoothly. I could write about this topic and go on to other subtopics for days and days. This is such an interesting topic to discuss and not many people take the initiative to do so. With our limited idea-forms and old habits we forget our self and the world is and will never be the same as it was yesterday. Through our own self-imposing ignorance we elude our higher-knowledge. In no way am I saying that ethics and morals are useless because they are not, but through experience most of us know that rules often lead us to reluctantly accept or even reject things and people at times when our inner-being is wanting to express and act in the opposite way. It is an old and outdated idea that mature humans need these sharp limiting idea-forms in order to bring harmony to life. When one takes the time to dissect, inspect, and bring their consciousness towards their true inner-selfs they will find that a majority of the time it is intuitively guiding them to what is subjectively and objectively ‘Right’ for their individual selfs. Although trauma and wounds are often covering up and in the way of feeling this intuitive self, you can be sure that these things are only there for a moments time and if one consciously becomes aware of this and sincerely puts in the work to dig through this rubbish, they will consequently reap the benefits in due time.
(POST-SCRIPT: I wanted to keep this writing relatively short so I may sound contradicting or hypocritical to some due to me not being precise in my explanations. Also, I capture all the photos I upload here. This one I particularly enjoyed taking because it speaks to me greatly. I have titled it The Sunlit Path (: )
Consciousness. Who What, where, when, and why is consciousness? These questions at this current time in space-time are some of the most confusing and subjective/objectives questions one can ask. For to ask what consciousness is one is simply asking what life is. And life is all, and all is life so there are innumerable answers to this wonderful question.
Depending on who you ask this question to though is a huge factor. And depending on how this person views the world and themselves greatly determines what type of answers you will get. (Coming from experience the perception I have of this Supreme-Absolute is a Spirtual-Materialist perception.) We our selfs, our other-selves, and matter (Earth) are both in essence subjective AND objective forms to this ONE true-manifestation. Although sounding contradictory to the mind it is in truth complementary not contradicting to the true-self.
Today I want to briefly speak about dreams in particular and how our consciousness interacts with them. In essence when we are “awake” our consciousness is not automatically consciousness. It may seem so to the mind but in its true essence the consciousness is mostly a inconscient consciousness or a partial-consciousness until one observes and brings their concentration to the experience of being. Depending on the individual being in the present moment which in effect draws the true-consciousness more to the front of our being can be extremely difficult or quite easy. In this Earth-Realm this is where the division of ordinary person and invisible [spiritual] person lies and depending on the path one is experiencing their actions can differ and have different effects relating to their mode of consciousness. (It is very important to note here when I say and divide ordinary people from invisible aka spiritual people I am not saying one is higher or “better” than the other. For in essence we are all equal and one in the same.)
Now, what I find interesting is how our consciousness is affected and reactive in relation to our dream-state, sleep-state, and awake state. Depending on our level of consciousness typically when one goes to lie down and fall asleep they temporarily drift off and become unconscious or inconscient. (Different words but same meaning) They go from a wake consciousness to a sleep-state and the consciousness to some may appear at this time to be blank and in effect when one comes out of this sleep state some say they don’t remember anything and that they were not dreaming at all. But for one who does remember their dreams they go from being awake and conscious to lying in bed and letting their consciousness slowly/quickly slip away which in effect causes them to become unconscious and fall “asleep.” Once asleep and unconscious they enter modes of sleep such as nonREM-sleep and REM-sleep. During REM-sleep one begins to experience the dream world and the unconsciousness soon becomes partially conscious again and begins to experience dreams. I say partially-consciousness here because it isn’t until one begins to realize that they are indeed dreaming and then can create forms and change locations with the power of their concentration/awareness. Aka lucid dreaming, this is known to many and many people experience this. In current time, especially in this new era of spirituality, this is often confused with an out of body experience. The OBE is something not to be played with for it can be dangerous if one does not have the proper grounding in their being and does not have the true-knowledge of the realm they are entering. Often people get the two mixed up and will mistake a lucid dream for an OBE. OBE’s are a fascinating subject which currently have a ton of misinformation surrounding it. Unfortunately this is done purposely and very few know the true-knowledge on what lies ahead when entering this realm. For now, I will not go further into this subject because that is a whole ‘nother topic on its own and in general one does not need to experience an OBE to be “spiritual”. In actuality having an out of body experience is not important at all when one chooses to embark on the sunlit path. But to go back to our consciousness and how it changes when we go to rest at night, if you instead go to bed and keep your attention in your body, keep your concentration focused on your body, instead of lying down and unconsciously letting your consciousness slip away and draw you to “sleep.” One will notice our body and mind slowly go unconscious while our consciousness remains alert. This is difficult and depending on the individual can takes months and months and even years to learn. Once this is learned and experienced enough times, consciousness even while the mind and body lie “asleep” remains active. When one has mastered this their consciousness is under ones direct will at all times and when one goes to lie down they can experience and come into contact with the life Divine-energy. Five minutes in this state can give revitalizing energy to the being that is equal if not greater than a full nights rest of inconscient sleep.
In our current timeline science is slowly but surely studying and trying to understand dreams and how are consciousness interrelates with them. There is good progress being made and I do without a doubt believe they will uncover information that will help people better understand the nature of sleep and dreams. But one must remember in this current time-line Science and Psychology are barely in its prime stages if we take a grand look at the overall evolution of earth. Once scientist and psychologist realize the mind in essence limits their theories and studies, the world and their selves will change both drastically and quickly. When the Spirtual-Materialist human becomes mainstream, the world and the individual is in for surprises.
Have you ever caught yourself thinking about who you were, who you are, and who will you be? This can be a scary and deep question to some because once you start thinking about oneself like this it can almost be certain that your mind and your emotions will be led usually down a dark alley with all the negative experiences, thoughts, and emotions one has dealt with or may come to deal with. But the plane of consciousness each individual is at also plays a part in how they react when faced with these unknown questions. If one does not sincerely observe themselves they would say I am pessimistic and should be more positive. These are the by-passers that have the partial truth and falsehood idea of ‘think positive be positive’, ‘think rich grow rich’, ‘all is one, love and light.’ This is one extreme end of the pendulum; the other extreme end would be ‘I am useless’ ‘There is nothing good about me’ ‘I am a failure’. Either way you look at yourself you will find that in both of these responses one is expressing a half truth and being insincere. “I am the greatest person alive.” “I am the stupidest person alive”. Each statement obviously comes from two different people but with different planes of consciousness and both idea-forms will have its effects and consequences. A sincerer approach to these questions would be for one to reconcile and bring their attention to both sides of the pendulum, and working to establish an equilibrium between the two opposite ends. Overall though, one must realize that no matter which approach is taken it is in its own way objective and relatively true. One must not say, “It is this!” “It is that!” For all in itself is absolutely necessary, otherwise there would be no multiplicity of individualistic expression in this infinite existence.
Hello everybody. Today I am expressing and continuing the topic of loneliness. Loneliness is such a wide experience to discuss and many ideas and sub-topics can be branched off from it. I have been noticing and experiencing this myself lately and I am sure that many of you have as well. As I fluidly write this article my intention is not for others to sympathize or to receive condolences. For these are just superficial and ‘normal’ responses one receives from others and ultimately barely even scratches the surface of the ‘problem.’ Instead, I intend to write to better understand these thoughts and emotions that have manifested in effect due to loneliness. (and not only for my understanding but for others to understand the same feeling they are experiencing themselves) Also as we bring our attention and concentration to this experience of loneliness we are temporarily feeling, we can in effect through our free-will choose to form idea-forms that are more aligned with benevolence and onward progression.
Understanding and bringing our attention to loneliness. One of the toughest part of experiencing loneliness has to probably be the person trying to understand this feeling. Some of the key points we must understand is that loneliness and the cause of it is not a ‘one size fits all’. The severity and happenings are innumerable and one must not compare their circumstances to the other for this will only result in more confusion. It is important to realize the feeling of loneliness one feels is the same as others, but the reaction and natural impulse one puts out is determined by their level of consciousness. For instance, I have felt and experienced loneliness many times throughout my life. While some experiences may root from the same cause, there are also other happenings that we have never gone through that result in this feeling of loneliness. It is often more than not the uncontrollable rather than the controllable that makes us feel this way; more on this later. Another point to understand is that the level of consciousness one possesses at the time of the experience is very detrimental to the effect it has on them. Through our own choice we ourselves have the power to either consciously or unconsciously react to this happening. We can consciously or unconsciously choose to bring our attention and concentration to the problem or not. If we consciously choose to bring our attention and concentration to this feeling we in result work towards self-progression and realization instead of ignoring and bottling up the experience and emotion. As I said, depending on the consciousness of the person, choosing to consciously face the feeling and experience is just the beginning. In effect, idea-forms are than created by the individual (some idea-forms are actually not created from the individual, and instead reside and come from the collective idea-forms of society. This is not yet realized or one should say mainstream in modern psychology or by the modern psychologist. For the reader or psychologist to understand how this is even possible requires a ton of explanation and experience. Most importantly direct experience is required for the being, the self-limiting mind along with its finite dialogue more often than not results in denial when this topic is addressed. This will not always be, as we evolve and move forward through time both individually and collectively more people will broaden their perceptions) and more often than not when someone is choosing for the first time to consciously understand this temporal mode of existence they will create self-defeating ideas rather than forward progressive thoughts. Some may choose to blame themselves while another may choose to blame others. Both reactions are of no real help, instead one must tell themselves “It is my responsibility to focus my awareness and try to understand this experience I am temporarily going through.” (that alone requires a strong will and a sincere aspiring attitude for progression) This brings us back to what I am still further explaining on what attitude one chooses to respond with. Just like the causes that led to this experience of loneliness, there are no set or certain happenings that can determine the attitude one will react with. Our attitudes are simply indeterminable and infinite. Our attitudes are mostly drawn and a result from our past traumas, wounds, triggers, shadows, and misleading childhood thought-forms. Once again, these traumas and wounds and etc. vary from person to person and in their nature, are subjective and unlimited. (DO NOT allow yourself to take the words of someone who states, “I had it worse” or “That is not a ‘good’ reason to be lonely” seriously)
Attitude. The person going through and consciously choosing to go through loneliness for the first time will more often than not react and possess a negative attitude compared to the person who has consciously chosen many of times to bring their concentration to the feeling. If I were to imagine or try and understand one of the causes of this, I would say that the current “Positive Mindset Only, Think Happy Be Happy, Positive Vibes Only” you know the basic idea that one should think positive only and everything will eventually be okay idea? Yeaaa, that. This idea-form is very misleading and mis-informative. (one can say it is so widely spread that it has transformed into a false and deceiving characteristic some people use to label their self as) Even though this idea-form is so widely spread and agreed upon through many books, authors, teachers, and solutions that does not necessarily make it ‘right’ or ‘true’. Do not get me wrong, if I were faced with the choice to choose positivity or negativity I would choose optimism. But the laws of nature and the universe is not objective to either or. Even the idea of calling oneself a ‘realist’ is misleading due to the simple fact of setting limits on the limitless. It is conformity which makes one believe and spread this half-truth idea-form. This new-age positivity coping mechanism is also used as a bypass which results in no actual real and lasting integral progression. It may temporarily solve the issue but in reality, one will eventually come back to the same level of consciousness. Once someone has had “enough” they will realize how misleading and unconscious society is. For the people who are reading and want more of a sincere and aspiring progression that is more aligned with our true-self a raise in consciousness is required. One must heighten and broaden their consciousness to understand the experience. This requires a conscious will that approaches the problem from all imaginable sides. To form an idea based on multiplicity and equilibrium rather than choosing to look at the problem as society does which is in a fragmentative matter. Positivity is only one solution out of many, choosing to address and perceive the problem from different angles is much more fruitful. This leads to the attitude of going into what society address as negativity, our shadows, traumas, wounds, past conditionings and habits. All of which that make us who we are (or at least who we THINK we are). But in effect one comes to find that if you consciously choose to attain this attitude it can ‘open up a whole ‘nother can of worms’. Choosing to respond with an attitude that is more aligned with reality and our true-self requires oneself to enter an unknown and uncomfortable reality. This is tough on some people because as they are already experiencing one undesirable emotion they now start to feel many others. (and again… in effect people will instead choose to choose comfort over progression and disregard the true solution to their ‘problem’) What I noticed through experience was that there are numerous other problems and feelings that may arise when you try to understand one feeling. This is very uncomfortable and in no way ‘fun’. I understand why so many people in society are interested in superficial things such as consumerism, sports, social media, TV, (many people say they do not watch TV while unaware that it is 2021 and the TV is now in your hand and backpocket) anything in our physical world that distracts our mental and emotional self from being with its self. People are concerned with everything going on outside of them rather than taking that focus and concentrating on what is happening inside of them. At the current moment this is ‘normal’ though, but with the current events that have been taking place more people are raising their consciousness.
Currently, I myself am experiencing this feeling of loneliness again. I have noticed this feeling trying to ‘take me’. Although the experience is not new to me, I can say due to the decisions that I have consciously made I have put myself in this situation. I am realizing that some experiences in life are part of the indeterminable while some are a part of the determinable. (Uncontrollable and controllable) This experience is a little different than the others in my past because I choose to be with no one but myself and I continue to choose to stay to myself. (This is very similar to my past-self) I do not consciously make these decisions out of ignorance and think to myself that I am better than everyone, nor do I go to the extreme at the other end of the spectrum which would be me thinking “I am not like the others no one understands me”. This may sound contradicting to some but to the ones who can relate will understand what I mean for words will not allow the mind to truly grasp what I am stating. I simply am in a temporary moment of my life again where I do not have a person to connect with on this physical plane. I am conscious of this and I am okay with this, for I know this is only temporary and the time will come naturally when it is right and I will have people around me who I can relate and connect with on a more true-level. As I was saying earlier, even though I feel lonely I have a will and a consciousness power that if I use correctly I can have it work with me rather than against me. I am able to choose how I am going to feel and perceive the circumstances I am currently going through. I started out nothing like this though, I use to fall.. and when I would fall I would kick my own self while I was down hard.. very hard. This is important for those of you who are reading and are currently feeling more ‘down’ than ‘up’. While many people would agree and easily say “Things will get better”, this is true but only a partial or half-truth. Things do get better but due to the cyclical nature of the world and the universal laws, ‘things’ will come back to being what one perceives as ‘bad’. (this is not a logical reason to not want to put in the work to understand oneself and how thyself can effectively make their lives more fruitful) I will express this again.. I am not being negative or pessimistic. I write with sincerity and truthfulness to the readers because I care about people making real change. I can easily say and conform to what society has as its standards but I choose not to. Take a second to look at the world from natures point of view, the seasons change, the breeze comes and goes, the leaves fall, the sun rises and sets, our nature is cyclical and we are no different than that just because we have a brain and walk in a way that appears to be separate from the ground. As they say.. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel, but what they forget to mention is that this light does temporarily tend to, ‘flicker and go out at times’, but that does not change the fact that the light is always there. Another way I like to think of us as is that we are walking through this forest called life, eventually the sun will set and we will have no other option but to walk through the forest at night, this is scary, this is uncomfortable, but this is also only temporary because as time goes on dusk will turn to dawn and the sun will rise once again and on we go in this cyclical manner never forgetting that the Sun is and always will be there.
If we think deeply about traffic or negative road experiences we will come to see that it can be labeled as a determinate and revealer of suffering within an individual. A person who at that moment is suffering and or going through some sort of pain will project their being out unto others if he/she is provoked by an external event. For how can it be otherwise? People allow such minuet things to effect their lives. One lousy honk at a person driving who is suffering and they will pull beside you and maliciously stare you down while speeding off eventually with their middle finger seeable through the back window.
I will admit to you all, I use to project my anger out onto others when I would drive ALOT. They’re driving to slow? -Get mad, unnecessarily speak ill upon them for no reason, proceed to pass them up. They cut ME off? -Take it personal, get angry, and proceed to cut them back off. They pull out in slowly in front of me? -Furiously honk, speed up and pass them up while flicking them off. One day I was texting a friend of mine and she could tell through my diction that I was angry and called me out on it. I was angry, and it was all because some older lady was honking unnecessarily at me. She called me out for such behavior and said that I was being unloving. And me being ignorant and not taking responsibility for my unnecessary responses, I quickly denied her conscious advice and told myself she did not know what she was talking about. It took another experience for me to realize that I must control my negative impulses better when I am on the road. One day I was leaving class and was trying to back up out of my parking spot. This community college I went to had their parking in a multi-leveled garage so at certain times it would get very congested. Well, as I waited for a spot to clear open and back up I was not let out by some guy. My impatient self became frustrated and was looking through my back window while cursing him out and flicking him off. This guy was not having it and literally got out of his car and came up to my window screaming at me while insisting that we fight. Although I was not necessarily frightened by him, I was not angry nor reactive enough to get out of my car and physically hit him. Although I did feel an urge to want to give in and start a fight due to his proving insults, I suddenly realized that I caused the whole situation in the first place. The guy finally stopped angrily speaking to me, spat, and walked backed to his car. This event made me realize how easy it is to experience serious ‘road rage’ and how my behavior can quickly determine and trigger others pain and suffering. From that moment forward I told myself I would not be flicking random people off and be more conscious of my actions while I drive. This experience could of ended in another a whole different way if I had been a bit more impulsive and fought the man. I probably would have ended up getting arrested, shot, or even worse killed and would not be here typing this today. Life is so indeterminable and people are very impulsive. Especially people who are deeply in a temporary mode of pain and suffering. These types of people have no problem with fighting or hurting a random stranger like you and I. For people who are more sincere towards other they will still be angry and project that anger out onto the road other drivers, but they are less likely to cause a scene. If you really want to see how well someone such as a friend/ significant other can hold their composer and not let other people’s character dictate and have control over them, watch how they drive. Simple as that. There will be many happenings on the road where the driver’s inner self will be tested and their reactions will tell you a lot about them. For if a person is calm, relaxed, and well grounded how can they be moved by such ignorant actions from others. Such a person won’t even speak or think ill upon others while driving, even though there may seem reason to, their quiescent inner being will not react.
I realize now and have even taken a conscious step forward to try and not be moved by the ignorant driving of others. I will not allow my being to be controlled by another’s negative choice. It is so. We do not even realize that we lose our self for a moment and we let these unconscious drivers take control of our lives. The only true everlasting fix to this problem in society is not enforcing laws or regulations, but to get rid of the pain and the suffering at it’s core. This is on a whooooole ‘nother level of consciousness and requires much more action that just sitting here and typing. I do have faith though that it is possible, not to say when… but I know.. this is possible.
